But what is this?

lingoXchange (Lingo Exchange) is an app designed for organizing and participating in virtual conversation events or meetups. These events are primarily aimed at individuals looking to improve their proficiency in a particular language, with a focus on English and Spanish.

Participants convene on a scheduled video call to exchange pleasantries and introductions. Occasionally, the host may propose a topic for discussion. Subsequently, attendees are divided into smaller groups, typically consisting of 3 to 5 members, within separate breakout rooms. The format involves conversing in English for 15 minutes, followed by another 15 minutes in Spanish. This structure is what characterizes these gatherings as language exchanges. The session concludes with everyone reconvening in the main room to say their goodbyes.

While the essence of these meetups remains consistent, each host may introduce small variations with their own unique flair and set of guidelines.
